Seeking A Contract Associate for CK Golf Solutions Ltd.

CK Golf works with golf courses and other golf industry partners throughout Western Canada, although most of our work is done remotely. Over the last 15 years we have worked with private, semi-private, public, 9 hole and 18 hole golf courses owned by single owners, members, boards and municipalities as well as golf associations and suppliers.

A sampling of the services CK Golf provides includes (but is not limited to):
• Individual golf course internet marketing services
• Golf consortium and tourism marketing
• Strategic planning
• Financial reviews
• Event management
• Recruiting for senior golf management positions

CK Golf and Principal’s Jeff and Tara Ciecko have a combined 50+ years experience in the golf industry including 15 years each operating CK Golf with the goal of always striving to improve the industry.

The Contract Associate position, reporting to and working directly with the owners, is responsible for all related aspects of our business as assigned. You will be a Team Player and will have exceptional communication skills. You will provide awesome content creation along with internet marketing best practices to make our clients successful. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within CK Golf.

Your primary responsibilities for our clients will include:
• Club communications
• Story telling
• Social media management
• Database growth strategies
• Development of CK Golf’s business

As this is contract position, the work can be preformed from anywhere in the World, although familiarity with the Canadian Golf Industry is preferred. Timelines will be provided as to when projects need to be completed but can be done any day or any
time as long as completed on their due dates. We don’t work a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm work week and are very flexible with schedules.

A strong background in public, private or corporate golf will be considered an asset but is not necessary.

The following will be considered an asset, but are not required:
• Physically located in BC’s Lower Mainland or Okanagan Valley
• Very strong written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Jonas email services
• Strong Excel or Numbers usage and ability to understand data
• Basic experience with Wordpress and use of Canva
• Previous use of the Gallus mobile app
• A Mac computer
• Basic understanding of the business of golf

Compensation for this position will be project based starting at $20/ hour. Hours will vary weekly as project work is needed although approximately 10 hours per week to start is expected. This is a great opportunity to supplement your income and grow with us. Pay is by e-transfer on the 1st and 16th of each month with provided invoice. Some travel may be required but most work will be completed from your home office.
