The Future of Time Change in Manitoba

The Manitoba government is considering ending the twice-yearly clock change, potentially moving to permanent Standard Time. Earlier evening sunsets could reduce the daylight available for tee times, leagues and events, affecting golf course operations.

The Prairie Chapter is monitoring the issue. Manitoba members are encouraged to complete the EngageMB survey, share it with their golfers and contact their MLA to explain how the potential change could affect their facility.
