PRO-SHOP CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTENDANT

Job Overview
The Pro-shop Customer Service Attendant is a complete service professional. The Attendant is responsible for customer service and sales of golf merchandise and services. Our full-service golf club offers a championship 9-hole course, cart rentals, lessons, pro-shop merchandise, club fitting and full-service restaurant. To ensure that guests have a positive and enjoyable experience. Professional appearance and behavior are required at all times.

Reports to: Pro-shop Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides excellent customer service, ensuring friendly and efficient service, recognizing regular customers and members
• Ensures proper POS (lightspeed) entry of customers, gathering appropriate information within the system
• Properly check in golfers, ensuring rounds are appropriately recorded and all rentals, other services and products are appropriately captured.
• Identifies opportunities to provide suggestions to customers and suggest sales items, features and promote upcoming events.
• Ensures accurate entering of orders, sales, discounts, proper cash management and completes daily cash balancing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Restocking shelves as needed
• Ensures proper opened and closing procedures are completed, including responsibility for ensuring proper opened and lock up of facility.
• Consistently projecting a professional appearance and demeanour

Qualifications
• Ability to work varied hours/days/weekends and Holidays
• High school Diploma or higher
• Strong computer skills, including the use of Point of Sales software. Microsoft Word/Excel and various social media platforms
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to trouble shoot
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and an eye for detail
• A proven track record of high customer satisfaction
• Outstanding interpersonal skills (e.g., friendly, outgoing, confident, and enthusiastically cultivating positive relationships with members, guests, daily fee players, events, and staff)
• A team builder. A person who embodies the person of ultimate coach and motivator, someone who brings out the very best in those around him or her by setting clear goals and expectations, providing consistent feedback and support, and who is respectful and professional in all interpersonal dealings
