Budget 2017: No Action on Client Entertainment Expense for Golf
With the release of the Liberal's Federal Budget, please click here for a memo from Impact Public Affairs, our lobby firm, who was in the budget lock-up all day.
There was no action on client entertainment expenses for golf, and very little on any changes to corporate taxation at all.
There were many of those tax amendments under consideration but all were apparently deferred until after President Trump determines how far his improvements to corporate taxation will go. The need for keeping Canada's business community competitive seems to be a major concern.
