1. Contest Period

The Contest commences on May 22, 2010 (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received by September 6, 2010, the Contest Closing Date. No purchase is necessary to enter any contest.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open to all residents of Canada who have attained the age of 19, except for employees/ representatives, immediate family and anyone who lives with an employee of the National Golf Course Owners Association Canada (NGCOA Canada) or is a corporate affiliate of the NGCOA Canada.

3. How to Enter

Individuals golfing at participating golf courses will be asked by a volunteer, stationed at a par 3 hole if they would like to donate $5.00 to Golf Gives with the funds raised being directed to the Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive For Kids in support of the Mike Weir Foundation and the Children’s Miracle Network. The $5.00 donation gives golfers the opportunity to participate in a Hit The Green challenge. Any golfer whose ball lands on the green will be given a sleeve of golf balls from the volunteers. Once golfers have participated in the Hot The Green Challenge, they will be provided a receipt with a unique code. The unique code is necessary to enter into the on-line draw.

No Purchase Necessary

To enter without a transaction, hand-print your complete name, address and telephone number on a piece of paper and mail to: NGCOA Canada, 955 Green valley Crescent, Suite 105, Ottawa, ON K2C 3V4. Limit of one (1) mail-in entry per post-marked envelope. Enter as often as you wish, but each sweepstakes entry must be completed in full, postmarked by September 6, 2010 the Contest Closing Date and received on or before the close of business September 10, 2010. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt.

4. Prizes

All participating golfers will have the opportunity to enter into a grand prize draw consisting of a trip for 2 to the 2011 Masters Tournament at Augusta courtesy of the Mike Weir Foundation including 2 tickets to Wed. practice round and par 3 competition, and an opportunity to meet Mike Weir.  The second grand prize is a trip for 2 to the 2011 Disney Classic in Florida courtesy of the Children’s Miracle Network including 2 VIP Passes and 2 person honorary observers. Air fare and accommodations for both grand prizes will be provided by the NGCOA Canada. 
As instant prizing, golfers who land on the green will automatically receive a sleeve of balls.

5. The Draw

A random draw will be conducted on or about September 13, 2010, at 12:00 pm EST in Ottawa, Ontario from all eligible entries received during the Contest period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. Confirmation of Selected Entrants

a) Each selected entrant will be notified by telephone or mail within seven (7) days of the draw date. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question. In order to be awarded the prize, the selected entrant must show valid photo ID and sign an affidavit of eligibility and release form
b) The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada will not be responsible for any entries that may be lost, stolen or misdirected. Entrants, by entering this contest, consent to the use of their name and/or photograph, without compensation, in any future publicity carried out by the National Golf Course Owners Association Canada in connection to this contest.
c) The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada reserves the right to disqualify any person(s) tampering with the entry process or any other violation of these contest rules.

7. Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. We use your personal contact information to administer the contest, including contacting, announcing and promoting prize winners. In addition we may use this information to update you on events and promotions being offered by the NGCOA Canada, the Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive For Kids, The Mike Weir Foundation, the Children’s Miracle Network and any sponsors of the program.
