Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive For Kids
The Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive for Kids is supporting the Golf Gives program with the National Golf Course Owners Association Canada to implement this program nationally. The Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive For Kids is ‘to be golf's premiere fund raising initiative to support children's health care’. Their mission ‘is to ensure that all children receive the very best care, that children benefit from world class research and that care facilities are provided with funding for educational and support programs’ and their goal is to raised $10 million for children’s health care across Canada.
Mike Weir Foundation
The Mike Weir Foundation is dedicated to advancing the physical, emotional, and educational welfare of children. The foundation was established by Mike Weir in March of 2004 as a private foundation and a registered Canadian charity. The Mike Weir Foundation supports the Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive For Kids as well as benefits from the funds raised from the Golf Gives program.
Children’s Miracle Network
The Children’s Miracle Network supports 12 foundations representing 14 Canadian Children's Miracle Network Hospitals across the country. The program was founded in the United States in 1983 and currently supports over 170 children’s hospitals across North America. To date, the Children’s Miracle Network has raised over 1.4 billion dollars in support of children’s hospitals through diverse initiatives and their annual telethon. The network itself has affected over 14 million children suffering from different illnesses.
