Happy New Year SWO Chapter Members!

For those of you lucky enough to have escaped this winter weather, please take a swing for those staying back to brave the cold weather. Even though the region is blanketed in snow and bracing against cold winter wind, it’s a busy time for the NGCOA Canada. NGCOA Winter Programme “To Do” checklist

  • Contact Shawn Hunter for an up-to-date Golfmax Supplier Program List for 2017
  • 2017 Ontario Golf Course Superintendent Conference (OGSA) will be held in Niagara Falls [January 17-19]
  • Register for Andrew Wood's 2017 Golf Marketing Boot Camp, Orlando, Florida [January 23-24]
  • Submit IPM records for desk review by January 31.
  • Exhibit in the Play Golf Ontario Pavilion - London Golf Show & Sale, Western Fair District [February 18-19]
  • Earn IPM Accreditation CEC’s at Ontario Turfgrass Symposium, University of Guelph [February 22-23]
  • Exhibit in the Play Golf Ontario Pavilion - 2017 Toronto Golf Show, International Centre [February 24-26]
  • Spring Warm-Up meeting will take place late March 2017 - date & location to be posted soon
  • Deadline to begin appeal process for Current Value Assessments is to file RfR by March 31.
  • NGCOA Canada Golf Invitational will take place mid-August 2017 - date & location to be posted soon
  • Sign up for Get Golf Ready
  • Watch for new Kids Play Golf website coming in March 2017
