2011 BC Golf Hall of Fame Inductees _____________________________________________________

The BC Golf Museum and Hall of Fame this year inducted Dawn Coe Jones, Cec Ferguson, Jim Rutledge, Walter McElroy and the late Bob Kidd during a celebration dinner hosted at Capilano Golf & Country Club in West Vancouver.

Cec Ferguson, General Manager at the Vernon Golf and Country Club was recognized for his great career as a competitive golfer. Cec won several amateur titles as well as represented Canada at Commonwealth Matches in South Africa. He was the last amateur to win the BC Open. He then competed professionally for three decades, winning several Canadian Tour events, along with the PGA of Canada’s Club Professional Championship, the PGA Seniors Championships in both Saskatchewan and BC and a number of team competitions.
