Golf Business Learning Center

The Golf Business Canada Learning Center is an education initiative of the NGCOA Canada that will bring significant  benefits to our members, and more directly, to the employees of our member facilities. With the launch of this formalized education initiative, NGCOA Canada enhances its role as the industry leader in the business of golf. 

Headed by industry leader James Cronk, the program will be delivered in three stages and provide three key educational services; a Speaker Series that provides qualified ‘best practices’ training for front-line service staff, an Educational Library and Training Resource that provides a ‘one-stop shop’ for golf industry best practice resources, and a Golf Industry Consultant Network that provides endorsed and skilled consultants to all NGCOA Canada members and their employees.

2012 SPEAKER SERIES!

Now in the second year, the SPEAKER SERIES provides training to your front-line staff. These sessions are geared to all front-line staff positions, including course marshals, f&b servers, golf shop staff and others.

Last year hundreds of front-line staff across Canada attended these half-day training sessions to learn about topics such as:
• What golfers and customers want
• How to improve teamwork
• Customer service basics
• Overcoming conflict
• Qualities of being a great employee
• Plus much more…

Dates and locations for the Spring 2012 Speaker Series will be announced in the coming months, however if you would like the Speaker Series to come to your area, all you need is a host venue and a minimum 100 total participants from the various clubs in your area.
